We made a great presentation at the ACI EUROPE WBP webinar on digital solutions for airports.

We presented our perspective of preventative airside supervision to nine Romanian airports, the members of RAA , who were present at the meeting.

On the first day of the 43rd TOSC meeting, we made a pleasant presentation to the committee members about ArgosAI and our solutions. After the presentation, we had an enjoyable dinner with the committee members hosted by ArgosAI. During the Istanbul Airport airside trip on the second day, we had the chance to show our sensor stations installed on the runway 18-36 to the members of ACI TOSC and STSC. People who shape the future of flight safety in world aviation examined one of the most crucial parts of future flight safety.

ArgosAI was cited as an example from Turkey in the magazine, which examines countries’ artificial intelligence policies and institutions. ArgosAI took its place as an exemplary company on the Turkey page of the magazine, in which the Netherlands Enterprise Agency evaluates countries related to AI.

Today we presented AI applications in the aviation industry in ISATECH 2018.

“Teknoloji Ödülleri” is the Turkey’s most prestigious award which is given by coordination of the Turkey’s top organizations: TUSIAD (Turkish Industry and Business Association) & TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) & TTGV (Technology Development Foundation of Turkey).

At ArgosAI we focus on image understanding. Our main focus is recognizing foreign object debris (FOD) in any weather condition on the airport runway surface. For this purpose we created our own image recognition solution using deep neural networks.

Today, ArgosAI is on the stage in 2 exhibitions in 2 countries at the same time. Airport Show in Dubai and Technology Development Zones Summit in Ankara.

Different applications stand out in the FOD system tender for the 3rd Airport. Accordingly, the company that won the tender will determine the bird types for the 3rd airport, and will make 7-8 classifications of ‘march or stork’.

By establishing SAHA Istanbul Technology Economic Enterprise within SAHA Istanbul, it created an infrastructure to carry out effective activities.

A-FOD installation is almost finished for FOD detection at Alanya-Gazipasa International Airport. System will be active on the 300m section of the runway and the airport firefighter department will be alerted immediately when FODs (Foreign Object Debris) are detected.
